Mr. Edward M. Shannon, 96, of Utica, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at his home. Mr. Shannons funeral will be held on Friday (today), May 15, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours for family and friends are Friday (today), 11:00-1:00, prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Edwards name may consider the Visiting Nurses Association or Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. Grandpa Shannon, we will always remember your smile and laughter especially with your great gankids Sydney and Aidan. It was a joy to have you in our lives. I mostly think of easter visits when you always had golf on the tube. You will be missed and remembered with smiles and love.
