"Edward was an amazing husband,
father, and fisherman!"
Edward Lee Unell, 56, passed away peacefully at home in Camas, WA on July 28, 2017. He was born in Orlando, FL to David Lee and Patricia Annette Unell.
Edward worked as a Banquet Captain at The Benson Hotel. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, cycling and spending time with his family.
Edward leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Renee; his three children: Nicholas, Shaelyn and Kaia Unell; father, David Unell; mother, Patricia Mulchi (William); sisters, Lynette Laguna (Mark) and Rae Jean Mark (Raymond); a large extended family and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thurs., Aug. 10, 2017 from 6-8p.m. at The Benson Hotel, 309 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97205.

Ed was the best friend anybody could hope to have. He will be sorely missed by all. I am forever grateful for all the memories of adventurous travel and great times we experienced together.

In Florida this afternoon we said goodbye to a part of our family, my Uncle, and an all-around great guy! He was loved by many and he will be missed a lot! Thankfully he was able to bless the world with three beautiful children and his legacy will live on through them and through all the happy thoughts that we have of him. We were grateful to know you Uncle Ed and we look forward to seeing you one day! Until we meet again,....

We were saddened and shocked of the passing of Eddie. He and our son John were neighbors best friends growing up, and they had wonderful time fishing in The Florida Keys and fabulous trip out west together as adults. John so often talks of those wonderful times with Eddie. Memorable!
