Ted was one of the most kind, considerate, and funny people I have ever had the privilege of getting to know. I´m glad I had the honour of calling him a friend. I miss him and think of him often. He was one of the great ones, and he will be remembered that way. I´m so saddened by your loss.
Sincerely, D.J.O

Van Fossen's,
I was shocked to fine out the passing of my old high school friend Ted. Ted and I were quite close in high school, and his younger brother Josh and I served in the same Air Cadet Squadron. I would love to get in touch with you all. I'm currently living in Australia. If you get this please email me: [email protected]

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Van Fossen and family: I am very sorry to hear of Ted's passing and offer you my most sincere condolences.... Ted was a student of mine in French at Harry Ainlay High School and I do remember him as being a "big bear" of a student, who was very quiet, but very hard working and so polite and respectful -- he was always positive in his attitude towards my French class and learning and I enjoyed having him as a student. May the memories you have of Ted bring you some comfort in this difficult time.

Josh, 2nd Mother, Mark,
I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Ted was a wonderful person, and I always enjoyed his company, be it cooking pizzas with him and Josh, or simply hanging out and drinking a few beers. I now only wish I had gotten to know him better. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
My deepest sympathies,
