EDWARD SIMON VOGLER Jr.

I knew Ed in high school. At an age where kids can be cruel and cutting, Ed had a kind word and a smile for everyone. Just a nice, nice fellow.

The Last Post sounds for you, sir.

Deeply saddened by Ed's sudden passing. I knew him mostly as Sgt. Munro. He made the Mohican Board a more vibrant place for a very long time. Rest in Peace, Sarge!

I met Ed a couple of times. A real gentleman. My deepest sympathies from across the Atlantic to all his family and friends.

We are so saddened to hear of Ed's passing. Phil and I always enjoyed seeing and visiting with Ed at re-enactments, He will be so missed. Our deepest condolences,

Rest in Peace Eddie. Nights when he worked security were always good ones. He always had a kind word and a story to share. My thoughts are with his family.

Rest in Peace, Eddie. I also worked alongside Eddie, although I did not know him as well as those in the front end at the store where we worked. Still, I felt a warmth from Eddie's presence and he always had a greeting and a smile for me when he would makes his rounds after arriving, checking in with all the employees here. Eddie will be sorely missed here and my heart and thoughts are with the Vogler family at this time. May you find peace and know there are many thinking of you and holding you in our hearts. My heart felt condolences to family and loved ones.

I am fortunate for having known Eddie. I came to know Eddie through work. Eddie worked very hard and took pride in the execution of his various tasks. Many will miss having him work alongside of us. He often shared that he looked forward to seeing his loved ones once he arrived home. He especially mentioned his pride in watching his daughters grow up to be strong and intelligent women. Eddie was among one of the nicest people anyone could meet. He will be greatly missed.

You will all have wonderful reflections on Eddie's life, I'm sure. Here is my tribute:

Eddie, to my account, is a true and kind gentleman and a scholar. Always quick to laughter and always ready to give a helping hand or a word of encouragement. Eddie possesed decades of accumulated knowledge in history and could recall facts and descriptions of historical events with ease. I am ever grateful for all the great banter and informative conversations I've had with Eddie; yet, I am sorrowful for the grief of the Vogler family who lost a good man. May you find comfort and peace in his loving memory.

My Condolences to the Family and Friends of your loss. ED will be sorely missed by all. He was a great example to all in living his life to the fullest. He was there for everyone. I pray that His family get's through this trying time. May He Rest In Peace!
