Wegrzynowicz, Dr. Edward S. Died October 3, 2011 at his home in Aberdeen, SD. He was the son of Albert and Sophie, born October 10, 1954 in Minneapolis. Ed is survived by his nephew, Valerii (Olena) Venhrynovych of Ukraine; niece, Halyna (Mykola) Vasylenko of Ukraine; three great nephews, Yuriy (Svitlana) Vasylenko of Minnetonka, Bogdan Venhrynovych and Edward Venhrynovych, both of Ukraine; two great nieces, Oksana Vasylenko and Elizabeth Venhrynovych, both of Ukraine; sister-in-law, Oksana Venhrynovych of Ukraine and a special friend, Ruth Wachtel of Iowa City, IA. His parents and one brother, Stanislav Venhrynovych preceded him in death. He received his B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Graveside service Thursday, 2 PM at SACRED HEART POLISH NATIONAL CEMETERY in Fridley, MN. For questions call 651-698-8311.

For forty years, I was fortunate to be Ed's friend. He loved his family & friends and his compassion and integrity, coupled with his inquiring intellect and love of life, drove him try to help his patients, friends & family in any way he could. My memories of Ed will stay close to my heart all of my life.

Wow! Ed was my cousin. Havent heard from him in years. So sorry that we didnt keep in touch! Sure remember him and his chemistry sets when he was young! His parents would have been so proud of him!
