Edwin "Duck" Buchanan

As I grew up, I looked up to my older cousins. Duck was one of those people who gave me inspiration as a kid. His humor, smile and ability to make anyone feel at ease will be missed by all who knew him. I will miss my cousin.

I am so sad by the passing of Duck. He will be missed as I miss my brothers who have departure this life. Many years ago when my life suddenly changed and I felt alone, Duck was there for me as a brother. I loved hearing him sing and the melody of his guitar with the Spirit Of Springfield gospel group. But now, the Angels in heaven are singing and joy bells are ringing for Duck's arrival.

Worked with Ed when he started with Illinois Bell, what a kind person he was, I hope the Lord comforts the Buchanan family through these tough times, R.I.P Ed.
