Edwin D. Davis M.D.

Edwin Dyer was my Father's first cousin and I only met him a few times over the years, first in West Virginia, then later in Florida. His Mother was my Grandmother Lee Belt Koester's sister. Really great people and highly thought of in the family as well. Wish I had kept up with he and his family.

I can't believe he's gone. I have known him 69 years, before he was an orthopedist and he's the very reason I'm an anesthetist today. He took the time to talk to me about my future. I am so glad that I was able to be his anesthesia provider for many years before he retired. He was an amazing brilliant visionary who saw way ahead of those around him. He's a personal loss to me and a huge loss to the community and all who loved him.

As a kid growing up on Crescent Ridge Road, Dr Davis was our immediate neighbor. Always a very nice man. Edwina, sorry for the loss of your dad. I hope you are well. RIP Dr, you did great things for the community.
