Edwin D. Fitzgerald

The Breton & Fitzgerald families have known each other for about 40 years, mostly through our children & shared granddaughters. We have enjoyed many great memories, watching our families grow and we feel very thankful to have known Ed, Ellie & all of you children. We were sorry that we could not attend the service, but please know that our thoughts and prayers have been with all of you.

Our love and prayers go out to each one of you, Aunt Ellie, Chrissie, Cathy, Tim, and Mo, and your families! We love Uncle Eddie, and his memory will live on in our hearts! His kindness and genuine nature made a lasting impression. I look forward to being with him again one day.❤

Ed, a generous soul with a heart of gold. You were always there for me with a bit of advice and a giant hug delivered with a twinkle in your eye and infectious laugh. Will miss you tremendously

Eddie was a kind and gentle man, a wonderful husband, father and brother. I will miss him more than I can ever express. He loved his family more than anyone I have ever known, and I know that Eleanor, his wife since 1959, and his four magnificent children are heartbroken at his passing. He served his country with great distinction in the United States Navy, becoming a world traveler at a very young age. He had a marvelous sense of humor and I have never, in all these years, heard anyone refer to him in an unkind way. His was a long and wonderful life. He was a strong believer in God and followed his religion with true conviction. We have all lost a real friend. May he rest in peace.
