I think about Ted all the time. Whenever I´m with classmates and friends we talk about wishing he was here with us.

Only knew Ted for a brief period, my freshman year at Santa Clara 73-74. He was a pretty good pitcher on the JV baseball team, and just a nice guy. No surprise that he went on to success with career and family back in Oregon. Sad about his untimely demise. God bless him and surviving family.

Praying for you and your family. I babysat you, Tim and K.C. way back in the mid 1960's when I was in high school and also attended Our Lady of the Lake. My Gramma knew your Mom and that is how I was able to start sitting for your family. Your family and children and Tim and KC will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

My husband and I got to know Ted when Janet invited us to their house for Christmas Eve when she found out we did not have any plans to be with our families over the holidays. Ted and Janet were always such gracious hosts - making us feel like family at those dinners. Their children meant the world to them - we grieve for Janet, Allana and Brett.

Ohhh, Ted, you darling man!
I remember meeting you for the first time at Merrill Lynch, one of the first friends of Eric's.
You were so kind and welcoming, you made me feel so special.
I loved talking with you, such a good listener and interested in what I had to say. Always asking questions about me and my life.
You loved Janet so much! And then your children came, Allana and Brett. What a special Dad, so loving and caring. You were the epitome of family love and life.
I know you'll be their guardian angel, every time they think of you, you will be thinking of them! ❤
I'll miss you, buddy!
Love,

I was honored to be Ted's friend. He was devoted to Janet, Allana, and Brett. Such a loss, way to soon. Rest well, my friend.

God bless you Ted. I, like many others, are having a hard time getting our heads around this. Ted was my earliest friend. We lived near each other and went to grade and high school together. For a period we were inseparable. From an early age Ted exhibited qualities that defined him as a person; kind, generous, gentle, faithful, reliable. He had a lot to brag about but never did (except about his family). As each of our lives got busier we saw each other less but when we did see each other it was like we never missed a beat. I'll miss him dearly. Knowing Ted I know he is in a good place.

God bless you Ted. I, like many others, are struggling to get our heads around his passing. Ted was my oldest friend. At one point in our lives we did almost everything together. Over the years life got busy for both of us so contact became less frequent but when we got together it was like we hadn't skipped a beat.
From the outset Ted exhibited qualities he had throughout his life; kindness, a gentleness and empathy. Unwaivering friendship and generosity. Ted had a lot to brag about but never did (other than his family). I will miss him very much.

Ted's passing is shattering. If you ever knew Ted in your life, it is likely you carry a special bond with him. Everyone that knows Ted would agree , he is straightforward. What a great quality that is, right? Ted could truly radiate. He was a man that managed to balance a big personality without being blustery. He would usually tell it like it is and sometimes you might even be uncomfortable but those are moments that we found Ted to be most endearing.
I was privileged to work alongside Ted for many years at Merrill Lynch. He was a remarkable, committed, financial consultant that spent his entire 42 year career with a commitment to make money for his clients.
We honor Ted for being a devoted husband, father, son, brother, coach, and friend to many.
Ted, you are home with our Savior, now.
For the rest of us, many tears ahead as we remember and miss you.
