Effie Heusel

Effie Heusel, 98, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Manor at Elfindale. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Heusel was born March 30, 1912 in Everest, Kansas, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Earp) Shivers. She had worked as an office manager in the medical field. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Heusel, in 1996. She is survived by her brother-in-law Robert S. Heusel and wife Lucille; nephew Mark Heusel and wife Janice of Mandeville, Louisiana; and nephew Dean Heusel and wife Shirley of Wilmington, North Carolina.
