Egisto Agostinis

AGOSTINIS _ Egisto June 15, 1924 - July 11, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Egisto. He will be deeply missed by his family: wife Gemma; children, Gus (Jackie), Renata (Mike), Reno, Dianella (Robert); grandchildren, Renata (James), Ryan, Dane, Andrew, Emma and great-grandchildren, Krista and Kalyn. He is predeceased by his daughter Beatrice. He also leaves behind his brother Orlando and family in Cranbrook and various nieces and nephews in Italy. Egisto was born in Murlis, Italy. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Alpini in Italy. He came to Canada in 1954 in order to build a better life for his family. He was a longtime resident of Cranbrook before moving to the coast over 10 years ago. He was an avid hunter and fisherman having a great love with the outdoors. Even though we will miss you terribly we hope you've gone fishing in Heaven. Say hi to "Beats" for us. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the nurses of St. Michael's Centre Hospice for all their wonderful care that they gave to our father. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michael's Centre Hospice in Egisto's name would be greatly appreciated by the family.
