Eileen Patrice Berry, 53, a resident of Tampa since 1998, and previously a longtime resident of the Washington, D.C. area, died on January 5, 2011. Born in Chicago, IL on March 27, 1957, Eileen Patrice was the daughter of Margaret and John A. Berry of Chicago, IL. She graduated from Col. Zadok Magruder High School in Rockville, Maryland in 1975 and received her college degree after attending the University of Maryland and the University of South Florida. She worked for a prominent Baltimore psychologist before relocating to Tampa. Eileen Berry served as Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer at Hapag-Lloyd (America) Inc, in Tampa and also served in other professional capacities at the global shipping firm. A devout Roman Catholic, Eileen Berry was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, Florida. She supported projects of the Catholic Daughters and participated in devotional activities at the church. Survivors include her brothers, John A. Berry, Jr. and Robert Berry of Tampa and Brian J. Berry, 10707 Bull Ridge Drive, Austin, Texas 78759; also her Aunts, Terry Hupp of Chicago, IL and Nancy Donahoe of Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, along with nieces and nephews Keller, Jack, William and Becky whom she dearly loved. Eileen P. Berry lived what Christ preached and shared true Christian love with everyone she met. Her bright smile and brilliant sense of humor brought joy to many and her reward in Heaven is well earned. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, 2405 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor, Florida, 34695 and a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at Espiritu Santo. Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Ave. North, Clearwater, FL. 33760. The Berry Family requests the sustaining gift of your prayers for Eileen P. Berry.
