I am saddened by the unexpected news of Eileen leaving us. I worked with her for 28 years and we shared many of our milestone life events together. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. She will be thought of fondly often. RIP, Mac. Yvonne Galler

I had the privilege of working with Eileen Dykstra for more than 20 years at Pearson, and her dedication, kindness, and thoughtfulness left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with. Eileen had a remarkable talent for delivering projects with precision and quality, always ensuring authors received their royalties promptly and with care. She was meticulous in taking notes and served as a role model for diligence and professionalism.
Outside of work, her love for baking and her cats brought joy to those around her. I will always remember the delicious cheesecakes she lovingly made for the holidays, baked in a tray she cherished since high school. Eileen's warmth, generosity, and passion for her work and life will be deeply missed. May her soul rest in peace.

I´m so saddened by the passing of Eileen. I had worked with her for several years and we also had a common love for cats. My husband and I took one of her cared for kittens years ago who gave us much joy. I will always remember Eileen fondly. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends at this difficult time. ~Joan Guskin

Eileen was always a loving caring person to me and my family both when she visited us in Scotland and when we visited the family in Greenwood Lake...
Always there to share info and facts about life in Greenwood Lake to me and my wife and children... we loved her for the person she was...
she was a kind, witty and lovely soul...
I know she would have taken comfort from the blanket of love my Aunt Theresa and cousins Kathleen, John and Kevin covered her with to the very end...
Take comfort in knowing you all done everything a loving family could....
We will all be with you in spirit, prayer and love through Sunday and at Mass on Monday...
Love and our heartfelt prayers to you all....
Jim and Margaret Docherty and family, Dumbarton, Scotland
