Eileen D. Robinson

Eileen D. Robinson (nee Skehan), of Blue Bell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 21, 2021. She was 87 years old. Born June 17, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Bernice (nee Korta) Skehan. Eileen was the loving and devoted mother of the late James J. Robinson, Jane E. Parisi (Anthony), the late Maureen O'Connor Robinson, Patricia Ann Robinson (John), and John W. Robinson (Deborah), and dear grandmother to James Anthony Parisi. She is also survived by her siblings; Joan Rinker, Martha Nugent (Don), Alice Flood (the late Jos.) and Dr. Michael Skehan (Mary Ellen), as well as many nieces and nephews, and her beloved Scooter. Eileen grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. She attended nursing school in Englewood, New Jersey, and then started her nursing career. Eileen earned her BS in Nursing in 1997 from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences. She worked as a nurse in many capacities from a floor nurse to a home health nurse. She retired from Aetna in 2004. Eileen was a member of the Spring Mountain Ski Patrol for many years and enjoyed many trips out west to ski. She also was an avid bowler, and loved to play golf. She was in the golf league and enjoyed being outside. Eileen enjoyed traveling, visiting her brother and sisters in Florida and family vacation to the Outer Banks. She was very close with her grandson, Jimmy, and she will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Eileen's Life Celebration on Monday September 27, from 10 AM to 11:50 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. Her Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen's name can be made to Bayada Hospice.
