Elaine Henry Obituary
Elaine I. Henry, 81 years, of New Tripoli, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at home. Born in New Tripoli, she was a daughter of the late Cleon and Lillian (Henninger) Derr.
She was a member of Grace Church in Kutztown. Elaine's life was dedicated to making an impact in the hearts of young people by varied means. She was the Director at The Oasis, an after-school centre; the Youth Leader at Mt. Zion; Cofounder for Sound of Zion, a musical outreach; along with leading ongoing Bible studies for adults/young adults.
Survivors: daughters, Lorie Henry of New Tripoli, Christine DeLong (Sherrill) of New Tripoli, and Ginger Schmidt of Macungie; sister, Diane Gaumer of New Tripoli, grandchildren, Tori, Jaden, Mallory, Dayne, and Drayce. Services: 1:30 PM on Friday, January 27, at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St, Fogelsville with a visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Interment, New Bethel Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., to help offset the cost of the services, PO Box 52, Fogelsville, 18051.

Elaine, a friend that helped me to understand the meaning of the scriptures and helped me through a tough time in my life when I was younger. A Great listener, and a TRUE friend in the sense of the word. That cared for people like Christ did, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit speaking thru her would for me give me comfort in knowing the God is in control. Will miss ya and until that Glorious Day we meet again !!! Love Ya, Elaine (MOM) and You Girls had a great mother. I know you miss and cherish her in your hearts forever don't lose that. Elaine was a super sister-in-law and a wonderful aunt who was always ready to talk about Jesus. She was a great witness for Jesus throughout her lifetime and many came to know Him because of that. She was a true prayer warrior! We will miss her but we know that we will see her again. She has no more pain and can now walk the streets of gold. The only scars in Heaven belong to Jesus who has taken away all her pain. Our sympathy goes out to all of you. Please stay in touch.

Henry family. I am so sadden at the loss of your deal Elaine. She was such a sweet, kind, and lovely lady. I loved talking to her at church and seeing her lovely smile. My condolences to you and may your memories of her cheerful spirit bring you comfort.
