Elaine Mae Noll

Elaine Mae Noll (Showers), aged 86, passed away on March 27, 2025, in Stevens, Pennsylvania. Born on November 21, 1938, in Reading, PA, Elaine was a lifelong resident of Berks County and was known for her dedication to family and community.

Elaine graduated from Northeast Junior High School in Reading, PA. Her career spanned several decades, during which she held various positions in local factories including Ludens, Penn Optical, Camp Hosiery, and Cobra Anchors, where she retired. Her work ethic and commitment were a testament to her character, greatly admired by her colleagues.

Outside of work, Elaine had a rich personal life marked by an array of hobbies. She was an avid walker, reader, and bowler. Elaine cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, which was paramount in her life. A Golden Key member of Weight Watchers, she also enjoyed long drives and dinners with her husband, Earl A. Noll (Stringy), who preceded her in death along with her sister Janet Ludwig, and brothers Donald A. Showers, William L. Clouse Jr., and Kerry D. Clouse.

Elaine is survived by a loving family: her sister Shelia Miller (wife of Richard R. Miller Jr.), daughter Donna Witwer, sons Roland (Butch) Heffner, James Heffner (husband of Tammy Heffner), and Michael Noll (husband of Brenda Noll). She was a cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren, great-grandmother to twenty-four, and great-great-grandmother to five. Elaine's legacy of love, patience, and resilience will live on through them.

In accordance with her wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Elaine's life was a beacon of joy and support to her family and all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
