Sincere condolences to Elaine Marie´s family, esp. sister Chyrl. I met Elaine at Univ. Of South Carolina in the mid `60´s. Remember her playing the clarinet for the school band at football games. Went to several SC State Fairs in Columbia. Swam at the pool attending SC. Hung with a friend, Charlie at many events....don´t know what happened to him.
Very intelligent young lady, very friendly. Saddened that she passed so
young.......had a lot more to share with friends. Will always remember the fun & good times. God Bless her in heaven. .

I met Elaine at a financial planning seminar I was conducting at the Cambridge Adult Education Center over 40 years ago. Elaine became a client but more importantly a friend. She was one of the sweetest, engaging and interesting individual that I ever knew. She was always upbeat, positive and forward looking. There was not an unkind or judgmental aspect of her persona. I am greatly saddened by her passing but ever so grateful that she blessed my life.

Eating peaches from their tree in their back yard in Spartonburg. The spaghetti brains, grape eyeballs, under the sheets while telling a spooky story at the cabin in Salisbury Beach! Going to Ray's boat at the lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains!

Richard and I have very fond memories of Lainie. When we had the privilege of representing our Amesbury at your Amesbury's 350th celebrations we went whale watching with her. During the trip we shared a very special moment when a humpback whale came towards our boat, dived right under it and came up the other side. It was a great thrill and something Lainie said she had never seen before! We were saddened to learn of her passing.

In loving memory of my dear Aunt Elaine, a remarkable soul who touched the hearts of many with her extraordinary talent as an artist and poet. Her creativity knew no bounds, and through her beautiful paintings and heartfelt verses, she brought joy and inspiration to all who had the privilege of experiencing her work. Aunt Elaine's legacy will live on in the vivid colors of her canvases and the poignant words of her poetry.
I have fond memories of visiting her in Boston as a child, where her warmth and creativity always made our time together special. My two boys have cherished the thoughtful and fun Christmas gifts she picked out for them over the years, a testament to her caring and generous spirit. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit and artistry will forever remain in our hearts.

Elaine and I were part of Stone Soup Poets in Cambridge. It was one of the many contributions she made to that central square area. Thank Elaine for helping me see my gifts.

My favorite memories with Elaine were the trips we took together, often with other family members. We loved hiking, camping, and canoeing. We visited lovely places including the Isles of Shoals and the Outer Banks.
