I remember a kind and friendly person toward me. She was sweet with great elegance. Glad to have known and went boating with her.

Carl and Elaine became our friends through Luther and Blanche Coggin. We enjoyed spending time with them in our beautiful mountains of North Carolina. We have special memories of both of your parents! Every year before Christmas, we would receive a beautiful Christmas card with a loving note and a check for a needy mountain family. They were wonderful friends. And oh yeah, we enjoyed our boat rides with Captain Carl! Sending our deepest sympathy and prayers of comfort to all of your family.

What a beautifully written tribute to a life well lived. Her friendship to me over the years will be sorely missed. I was blessed with such a treasure.
