Elaine Lisa Williams, age 70, died peacefully after a short illness on Feb. 3, 2021, at Morton Hospital. Lisa was the beloved daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Rose (Caron) Farrell, and grew up in Whitman and Hanson. She was a proud graduate of Whitman Hanson High School, Class of 1968. She raised her two older children in Brockton and moved to Fall River in the early 90's where she continued to raise her youngest son. In the late 70's, as a single mom, she desired a better life for her children. She joined the Women in Construction Program which began her career. She was a pioneer as the first women to become a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 223 out of Brockton. With her work ethic, endearing personality, and drive, she succeeded in a field dominated by men. Lisa was a member of Local 223 for over thirty years, where she served on the Progress Committee, and undoubtedly retired as a respected Union Electrician in 2012. Her love of camping began when her children were young, and continued throughout her life with her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters, skiing, and becoming the life of a party by telling her dirty jokes, and sharing her political views! Once retired Lisa enjoyed volunteering at Gifts To Give, gardening, and spending time with her cats. Lisa was the loving mother of Frederick J. Sommers Jr of Taunton, Theresa L. Randall and her husband Jason of Raynham, and Paul R. Williams and his wife Laurie of Swansea. Proud "Grammie" of Joslyn, Erin, Jason Jr, Nathan, Emiley, Olivia, Daniella, and PJ. Sister of MaryLynne and husband Earl Coombs of CT, Joanne Johnson of TX, and the late Charles Farrell, and Shaun Farrell. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. All are cordially invited to Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater for a public visitation period on Tuesday February 9, from 4-6 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Burial will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers and a continuation of Lisa's spirit, please consider paying forward an act of kindness, or a donation to Gifts to Give, 1 Titleist Dr, Acushnet, MA 02743

I only just learned of her passing. She was a wonderful neighbor, always working in her yard to make it look good and always came out to say hello to me and my dogs when we walked every day. I'm very sorry to hear of her passing.

I was so sorry to hear of Lisas passing. I knew Lisa for many years being one of her babysitters for Fred and Terrie when they were little. My deepest condolences to the family. Sincerely Gina St.Laurent Schuler
