DAD,
It's so SAD that you're gone, but you're no longer suffering. You're now looking down on me, Carmen, Darnell, Schi'an, Alexandra, and (my husband -lol), Christian from Heaven above where you deserve to be! We will ALWAYS remember, love, and have you in our hearts! Like you would say at the end of our phone conversations, "BYE FOR NOW"!
Loving you ALWAYS & FOREVER!!!
Your daughter, Patricia Naomi Dore

Eldon loved to sing and started his faithful tradition of lending his volunteer voice for the St. John's Church Getty Square Choir over 30 years ago. He remained true, year end and year out, attending rehearsals, all regular church services, and special holiday services and/or concerts. He at times was happy to fill in as a cantor, or special solos. Eldon was loved by all the other choir members and the director as well (myself), and we were always delighted when his loving wife Verna could be present with him in church. Eldon loved the choir, and several times made arrangements for bus transportation for the choir to go on annual summer outings to Shelter Island for swimming and picnics.
We shall miss you Eldon, but know you have "Walked Worthy" and are now probably playing steel drums before the Throne.
Our sincere condolences to Verna and the Family,
Don Lundquist and Joe Walsh MD
