Eldon Kempthorne beloved husband of the late Doris Kempthorne, dad to David, Nancy and Eric passed away September 7, 2017 at Evergreen Personal Care Home, Boissevain, Manitoba at the age of 90 years. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at St. Paul's United Church, Boissevain, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Boissevain Cemetery, Boissevain, Manitoba. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Messages of condolences may be made online at www.wheatlandfs.com

Sorry for your loss. Eldon worked for a while with my Dad, Don Smalley (he passed away in 1994) so our families knew each other. I enjoyed his conversations, and was close to his son Daveed. In the last few years I would phone Eldon and chat; He was upbeat and loved his family very much.

My sincere condolences to Dave,Eric and Nancy on the passing
of their dear father Eldon.He and Doris were great neighbors of ours in Saskatoon for many years and you could not have better ones.Eldon was the most decent man you would ever meet and he will be greatly missed.

The Kempthornes were the best neighbours one could ever have! We always enjoyed our chance meetings , and were pretty sure that Eldon was always having a "good day"--with the warmest smile ever.
We did lose touch of course when the move to Manitoba was made; but we send our sincere sympathy from Brevoort Park in Saskatoon.

Very sorry to hear of Eldon's passing . Eldon used to live in Saskatoon and worked at Real Estate where we got to know him . He was an avid hockey fan and we would meet him at many hockey games . Eldon had a million dollar smile and personality and was a great person to know.
