Another joy in Ellie's life was spending time on the lake with her husband, family and friends!

Ellie will be missed by so many people. If you did not have the opportunity to meet her, you certainly missed a genuine soul. Her smile could light up the world. I never saw a time where she wasn't smiling and hugging someone. She made everyone feel loved. I miss you already, Ellie! I'll see you again one day, my friend!

I remember Ellie very well. Always had a smile, bright energy, thoughtful, different than many at the lake and reading more about her life now, her being from Brooklyn and an artist does not surprise me. Frank, you may not know it, but you guys meant a lot to us and I'm so sorry to hear this. You guys seemed inseparable every time I saw you. All Peace.

Ellie was a beautiful person with a truly generous spirit. She will be sorely missed in the office of the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, where she was a loyal member for many years. It always brightened my day to see her smiling face. Heaven gained a sweet soul and a painter with enviable talent. Jo Ann Hanstrom/President CCLACC

So hard to find the right words at this time other than to say Ellie was truly "one of a kind" ..a devoted wife, daughter, friend, aunt and artist whose work was like no others! She also found lots of joy thru her pets and loved them so very much! Her beautiful smile lit up the room no matter where she was. Always full of life and unbelievable energy! She has touched so many lives and will leave a void that can't be filled. We will miss her beyond belief and will always hold on to the wonderful and beautiful memories we have of Ellie in our hearts forever! We love you Ellie! Until we meet again...Tony, Kathy and T.J.

A wise, trusted, and beloved friend for over 40 years. I will miss her many, many gifts. The world's light is dimmer with her leaving, and heaven's light is brighter. Rest in peace, my precious friend.

As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of Ellie. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
