Eleanor Fricano Obituary
Born in 1957 in Upland, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Barbara and the late Haldan Carlsen. Eleanor was a 1975 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh Senior High School. Eleanor met husband, Don and moved to California where she raised three children. She had a career in banking and loved working in her garden and her pets.
Eleanor is lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Don Fricano; her sons, Jason Fricano and Daniel Fricano (Rachel); her daughter, Courtney Khoury (George) and her cat, Zelda. She was a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Barbara Carlsen and Joan Gillon (David) her brother, Richard Carlsen, numerous nieces and nephews and her special cousin, Julie.
The family would like to thank Dr. Orloff and her team at Thomas Jefferson Hospital and the staff at the Glenn A Kiser Hospice. Donations may be made in Eleanors memory to the Ocular Melanoma Foundation.
Eleanor's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy bring comfort and inspiration to all who were touched by her presence.
