One Christmas we announced we were going to Peru to visit my husband's family. Eleanor said she always wanted to see Machu Pichu so we said why don't you come? So she did and she had a great time. That's the kind of person she was,always up for an adventure. She was also a great supporter of the CBC where I work and even volunteered at some events. She did a lot of volunteering and advocating for others. We are saddened by her passing and painful loss to her family. We'll always cherish our good memories of her. May God grant her eternal rest and peace. Amen.

I am so sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. I knew her through her volunteering at Brock House, and feisty is certainly a good description! I will miss her....

Eleanor, you were always outspoken and full of life and you will be greatly missed. Your stories about your life encouraged me and your legacy of openness and courage will live on through your family. May God bless you all.

It has been my honor and pleasure to know your mom throught some of our church events. She had always been upbeat, open and sincere . I love her and will miss her deeply.

I will miss Eleanor, our talks, her caring attitude.She was a good friend.

From our conversations, I've learned that Eleanor loved her family especially the grandchildren and she was so very proud of her daughters.

I pray that may God be very close to all of you at this time and may you find comfort in your memories of your Mom , your grandmother and may the love and peace of God envelope and comfort all of you.

I am saddened to hear of Eleanors passing. She was a beacon of light at our ladies gathering at ECBC. She was full of life. I am glad God gave me an opportunity to see her,hug her and speak with her last month. She will be surely missed.

Eleanor was a good neighbour. We had many interesting conversations over the years. And she was kind enough to drive my very ill 15 year old dog Brigitte and myself to the vet when it came time for Brigitte to be euthanized. It was a very difficult time for me and I'll always be grateful for Eleanor's support. I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to Eleanor's family and friends. Losing her is a terrible loss.

May memories of your loved one comfort you. Eleanor you were a good neighbour and I hope your next journey is a wonderful one.
