Eleanor Nicholas Obituary
She worked as an expeditor at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 20 years before her retirement. Eleanor enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid supporter of UConn Woman's Basketball. She liked spending time in her garden and caring for her dogs. Eleanor loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is the beloved mother of Paul DiMauro, Jr. (Diane), and Deborah Reeder (Buddy), proud grandmother of Liana, Alessandra, Gabriela, and Paul DiMauro, III, and Zachary, Sam and Wesley Reeder, and great-grandmother of Odin Reeder. She also leaves her sister, Shirley Ann Larkin.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Her procession will leave the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM at Holy Rosary Church, Ansonia. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peters Cemetery in Derby.
