Oh Ellie I miss you so much. You'd be so sad to see the mess that your Anna has been going through. I know she misses you terribly. Rest easy my friend this to shall pass and I'll always be there for Anna as I promised you I would. Much Love Sally

I'm missing you Elle... Parsons Road lives on and you are with me there every moment I feel your presence... Everything there exudes you and your life... I love to just sit in the "Sun Parlor" with you in your chair and me in mine and Momo and Preston playing and running around our feet giving us such joy... In your words you would say" I love my little family just the four of us... And Elle it's still just the four of us ... Rest in eternal peace my loving friend
Love Anna

Dearest Elle,

Everyone's messages on these pages shows how you (and Newell) touched the lives of everyone you met. We all miss you so very much! You graced us with your intelligence, charm, wit, and unfailing optimism.

My heart breaks that I did not know until now that you have passed. It would have meant so much to me to have shared memories with others at your service. But we cannot go back; if we could, we'd all still be together, n'est-ce pas?

Every day, I will hear your sweet voice, guiding me to look for the opportunities in life. I am so blessed to have had you in my life! Thank you for sharing my photos, letters and souvenirs from Florida. Life will be less fun without you, but I know you would tell me not to look back but to the future.

As always, so much love, Ellen xoxoxoxox

Ellie we've spent many nights talking and I treasure that time now. I was fortunate enough to get to know that personal side of you. Thank you for that. You are the sweetest, kindest and gracious woman I've ever met. Oh, Ellie the house feels different now. I come down from cleaning the upstairs and I expect you to be right here and then your not. I was always afraid I was bothering you with the vacuuming but you enjoyed the noise and commotion. Every night at 7:00 I'd crawl in bed with you for "Wheel of Fortune" I miss you so much Ellie! Much love

Eleanor and I worked together at IBM for over 30 happy years. She was a delightful person

God rest her soul and give her the light
of Heaven! My sincere sympathy to her sister Barbara.

I have learned so much from you and the real meaning of a life well lived was evident as the stories told by you were wonderful.... I will never forget your last moments.... the feeling i shall always have will be you dying in my arms that day... just you and I as we said it would be, your were like a mother to me and I suffer now with your being gone... it just isnt the same my beautiful friend, I miss you more than words can define... may you rest in eternal peace ...Your Anna as you always called me, Its empty on Parsons Road without you, Momo looks for you and Preston sits at your bedside waiting for you... Elle was a delight. A pleasure to work near and a very special lady. She was in charge of career development for a lot of us who passed by at IBM.
