In memory of
Nancy Armstrong
July 12, 2019
Memories are so precious. The words I wrote in 2011 are just as true today as they were eight years ago. I am saddened we were never able to have our gathering we discussed. But I know that Bud, Eleanor and Frank are sharing their love for each other plus many more jokes. Much love to the Preston family.

Dearest Prestons - I just returned from a trip to Alaska and found out about Eleanor's death and had never received word about Frank. My deepest sympathy and love to you all...I had a great conversation with both of them just shortly after the first of the year. We were talking about getting together. May God hold all of you close and know my love and prayers go with you all. Bud & I had such great experiences with your parents. They will never be forgotten.

We were very sad to hear of Eleanor's death but know how much she missed her beloved Frank and that they are together again. We first know them in the 60's at their little church in Clair Mel, and then renewed our friendship after they retired to Tennessee. They were both truly wonderful people who made the world a better place. We will miss them.

Remembering the happy days spent travelling with Eleanor as our capable and enthusiastic guide through Scotland (also England and Ireland). She and her husband, Frank, were such good friends -- both in our travels and here at home. Louise Carpenter, Ocala, Fla.

You may not remember me, my name was Kristen Urban at the time I knew Eleanor and Frank. They lived in a log cabin home in southeast Ocala. I was going through a very rough time in my life and they were gracious enough to take me in and helkp me get on my feet. They were angels to me. they never judged or critisized me,they treated me like family. I am very sorry to hear of their passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. If it hadn't been for the Prestons, I don't think my life would have turned out as blessed as it has.
