I remember Eleanor from when we had classes together at Clarkson Secondary School during the mid to late 70's. While she excelled in Music she also was one of the top students in Physics. It's a shame I lost track of her after high school.

We are deeply saddened by the Eleanor's passing and would like to extend our sincere condolences to her family and community at this time. We came to know Eleanor through our daughter, Heather White Luckow, to whom she was both a mentor and friend. We had the honour of meeting Eleanor personally when we visited the McGill Music School Campus for our daughter's graduation and were very impressed by her presence, her grace and her infectious personality and smile. May her dear soul rest in peace!

I am deeply saddened by Eleanor's sudden death. She was a longtime neighbour, a good friend, and a brilliant, creative thinker. I miss her deeply. Jacqui Reid-Walsh (Westmount and State College PA)

My deepest condolences to Eleanor's family. I am truly heartbroken to have learned that my friend and former Yellow Door Choir director had died. Eleanor's gifts were many, but for me she touched the deepest recesses of my soul with the gift of music. She brought out my passion and helped me find my voice. When she conducted me in the Yellow Door Choir oI literally would lift out of my shoes as my voice soared. I will never forget Eleanor. I will never forget her personal strength. Music won't be the same without her.

I am heartbroken. She was the most incredible human being I have ever met and interviewed, and I will miss her enormously. This is so very tragic. Such a wonderful, special talent and a beautiful soul...
