Our friend Eleanor was one of our Knit Wits here at Schaefer Gardens. We will miss her wit and free spirit. An avid knitter and crocheter she was always willing to help someone with her expertise. She was also one of our Gazebo group-spending many an evening enjoying each others stories (sometimes gossip) at the gazebo right outside her apt. She pushed her walker thru the halls even during and after treatments-some referred to her as Schaefer's Energizer bunny!! Rest in peace our friend Eleanor!!
