I'm so glad that I got a chance to hug you and tell you I love you. I cant believe you pass in a few days after I came to visit. You were a mentor to all who came into your life. I'm glad we were friends. Love you and will miss you.

I am so deeply saddened to learn that we have lost Eleanore. When she reached out to me during her first term on the Board of Supervisors to be her appointee on the Advisory Commission on Youth, little did I know she was changing my life forever... and for the better, much better. Within 4 years I ended up being her Aide as she tirelessly served the Blue Ridge District and the County as vice Chair of the Board. Oh what good trouble we got ourselves into! And oh how she loved her family and friends. ET, with her velvet hammer, and her beloved Big Jim will forever be a huge chapter in my personal Book of Memories. Because she was the one who pushed me to become a member of the League of Women voters, my memorial contribution will be given to them; I hope the family understands. ET, I will love you always.

We were saddened to hear of Eleanor´s passing. She will be missed by many. Our Friendship goes way back to 1970 when she and Jim welcomed us to Purcellville, Virginia.
Love to the Family
