My Father-In-Law was caring, loving, sympathetic, generous, sweet, sincere, a good-hearted man, and I can go on and on. My Father-In-Law was the kind of man who would put a smile on anyone's face and make anyone feel like his friend, or part of the family. My Father-In-Law was the kind of person who lived his life in a way that we should all live. GOD chose to take him from everyone that knew him - family, friends, those in his community and even employees at the stores he would shop at. My Father-In-Law would visit his friends, relatives, and anyone he knew at their homes, hospitals, hospice, and nursing homes to visit and would bring food, flowers, or simply his sweet, sincere smile. I believe that GOD took my Father-In-Law in a peaceful, painless way because of the way he chose to live his life, how he made a positive impact in everyone's life, and he was a gentle soul. He welcomed me with open arms from day 1 and never let me go and never let me forget how loved I was by him. There is a void in my heart but also a place in my heart for my amazing Father-In-Law. We should all remember him for the way he lived his life and how he treated everyone around him - people and animals - and if we all lived a life and treated each other half as good as he did, it would be a better place. I love and miss my Father-In-Law (Hpetheros mou) always and thank him for all that he did for me. He will be deeply missed and the wonderful stories and memories will live on always. Until we meet again...
GOD bless the family and may his memories stay alive in all who had the privilege and blessing to know him.
With Love,
His Daughter-In-Law Aphrodite (Venetia) Peters-Demetriou
