Elisabeth Ann Stratton passed away on December 17, 2024. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lana; her mother, Pamela; her brother, Jonathan (Kayla); and her cherished nieces, Emersyn and Elle. Elisabeth was preceded in death by her father, John R. She also shared a co-parenting relationship with Steve Darish.

A Funeral Mass to honor Elisabeth's life will be held on January 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, located at 555 S Lilley Rd., Canton, Michigan. A luncheon will follow the service, and children are warmly welcomed. Friends of Lana are especially encouraged to attend to offer their support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Lana's 529 college savings plan would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made via www.ugift529.com using Ugift Code: C63-N6J.

Elisabeth and I always had fun. From playing Barbie´s when we were little, to getting our first ferby toys (then mistakenly watching the movie gremlins right after, and being scared of them). As we got older we would make up dances to TLC songs and curl each others hair. No wonder we both became hairdressers. I will miss you forever Elisabeth.

I first met Elisabeth when she and her family moved to the house across the street when I was little. I believe she was 4 and I was 5, maybe. There was hardly a day she and I didn't spend together throughout our childhoods. From riding bikes, to pretending my grandma's handkerchiefs were alive and had powers, she was my first and most special friend. I have always and will always cherish and love her. Time and life had pulled us in different ways, but she has always been my sister in my heart. She is greatly loved and greatly missed.
