Byrne Hackett Kelly

I must have been 11 or 12 (circa: 1966-67) when the Kelly and Ritchie families first congregated. Maybe, it was due to Kirk, Cameron (Cammy to me) and I being enrolled in John Eaton E.S. or, maybe it was just because we were neighbors, living on Ordway St.
My three older sisters were not involved, by my mother, Helen (1925-2003) and father Giles (now 103 y.o.) took me over to the Macomb Street parlor on many occasions. I remember Lisa and my mother had almost matching orange hair.
Being a bright "carrot top" it was like having comfort food, warm, savory, and delicious. Cam and I have remained dear friends ever since.
