GALLANT, Elise (nee McEwen)
Happy owner of the Lucky Horseshoe Stables. Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Friday, February 22, 2002. Beloved daughter of Barb and the late Don McEwen. Treasured fiancee of Terry Pursell. Loving mother of Shawn and Steven (Violet). Cherished grandmother of Adrian and Anthony. Dear sister of Cathy (Gavin) and Rob (Cheryl). Predeceased by her sister Sue. Affectionate aunt of Liam, Seanna, Alex and Sam. Her optimism and caring will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial Visitation for Elise will be held at the funeral home of Skinner & Middlebrook Limited, 128 Lakeshore Rd. E. (one block west of Hurontario St.) Mississauga (parking of Ann St.) on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation-Oncology Dept. 201 Georgian Drive, Barrie, Ontario L4M 6M2 or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
