Elizabeth A. Andersen

Elizabeth A. Andersen, 77, resident of North 26th Street, Superior, died on Friday, June 24, 2005, in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. Elizabeth was born Nov. 10, 1927 in Foxboro, Wis. to Walter and Angeline (Wisneski) Cheselski. She had attended Patzau Grade School and was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Superior. Elizabeth was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been employed at the old St. Francis Nursing Home in Superior's East End and was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy in 1993, brothers, Walter, Frank and John Cheselski and sisters, Florence Thullen and Angeline Gates. Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Karen) Andersen and Gerald 'Jerry' Andersen of Duluth, a sister, Marian Larson of Superior, four granddaughters, Traci Ward, Robyn Tuominen, Jordan and Emily Andersen, a grandson, Nicholas Andersen and one great-grandson, Nicholas Ward. VISITATION:10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, June 29, 2005, in the Thompson-Hegstrom Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Flaherty officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family wishes to express their special thank you to St. Francis in the Park Health and Rehabilitation Center and to St. Mary's Medical Center Hospice Unit.
