Betsy was the complete package...beauty, brains, incredible wit and sense of humor, successful professional, and an amazing wife and mother. I always looked forward to seeing her at get together around Lakewood and at Hyland events back in the day. She fought her cancer like a warrior, and is an inspiration to all of us, as well as a reminder of how precious life is. My heart goes out to her family and friends, especially Marcus and Henry. Wishing you all continued strength and peace during this most difficult time. Xoxo

I only met Betsy a couple of times while I worked in the CEC at Hyland software. She had such a beautiful soul. I had the honor of teaching her son Henry. Her love for her family was unconditional. My prayers go out to all of them at this sad time. She will be missed terribly.

What a tragic loss. Words are weak, but know we are all deeply saddened and here to support you however best we can. May her legacy live on of what a great mom she was to Henry.

Betsy was a beauty since childhood. After I learned of her passing, I scrolled thru her Facebook page and saw the shout out to Mark and me that included her memory of the kit cat clock we had in our kitchen when she was little. I immediately ordered one and will think of her whenever I look up and check the time. Mark and I are heartbroken over your loss.

I miss Betsy immensely. She was my best and oldest friend of 32 years. We had countless sleepovers, landline phone talks, political debates, good beers, bad beers, inappropriate jokes, and a Mexico beach vacation. We were in each other´s weddings. She was like family and I loved her with my whole heart. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

I had the privilege of working with Betsy at the Industrial Commission during her legal career. She was an outstanding attorney and always brought her wonderful smile and positive attitude and dedication to the hearing room. Of course, nothing made her smile more brightly than when talking about precious Henry. Betsy was admired for her tenacious courage, work ethic and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her peers and colleagues , who were fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
