Elizabeth Ann Axelson

I was so lucky to have been friends with Beth, as we called her, all through Jr and Senior High School. Unfortunately we lost track of each other over the years. But I do remember what a good friend she was to me, how much she loved music and how much she excelled in school. I'm very sorry to hear of her passing and my heart goes out to her friends and family.

We are so very sorry to hear of Liz's passing, we met her only briefly, and thought she was so lovely. Our thoughts go out to you Jim, at this sad time.

I was always excited to see Liz's latest art quilting creation. Her creativity was very inspiring. I also enjoyed her kind and considerate way of being in the world. I'll miss my visits with her.

I had the pleaure - no delight - in being friends with Beth through high school. We lost track of each other until she was found in time for our 50th class reunion. I will always find a place in my heart for my memories of Beth as a sweet,kind,and utterly delightful friend. I am so sorry for the loss of Beth but keep her alive in stories etc. for her grandchildren.

Jim and Family:
I am so sorry to hear this. We've not talked for far too long. I only met your wife once many years ago, but what impressions I recall were good ones. We were so sad to hear of the passing of Liz. Have not seen Liz for ages but have thought frequently of the Axelson family .Jim our thoughts are with you and family during these very difficult times

I got to know Liz two years ago when we volunteered to sell raffle tickets at the Otter Coop It was a cold, wet blustery day in March, and we were outside under the canopy. In addition to trying to sell tickets under the adverse weather conditions we talked of quilting and family, and the hours passed quickly. When our shift ended we both felt rather guilty of our meager takings. I am so very grateful to have spent that time with a loving, and gracious lady. Thank you Dear Liz, and may peace be with you and your family.

Always a smile and a kind word, that is my remembrance of Liz, a gracious lady. The quilting community has lost a creative talent.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Liz when she volunteered to make a quilt for one of the Kouragous Kids Art quilts. She was one of the gentlest, kind hearted people I have met and it was a pleasure to meet and give her a hug at the November meeting. Rest In Peace now dear Liz. Nuala

Liz was a fabulous artist and I will always remember how she loved color and used it so well in her works. She will be missed by many.

Some of my most treasured memories of Liz are when we went for walks at our quilting retreats, to enjoy conversation and taking pictures, for future ideas for quilts.
Liz is probably one of the kindest gentlest people I have had the privilege to know. She always had a smile and a thoughtful word for anyone.
Liz you will be truly missed. We love you.

Liz made a positive impact with all those around her. She was a person who always looked on the positive side of every situation. We are blessed to have Liz a part of our lives. Her had many creative talents which she shared with those around her. We have had a beautiful quilt she made hanging in our living room since 1993. She will always be a special part of our family!

It was a pleasure to know Liz, we were not close friends but we had some good times. I will always remember the time eight of us went to Salt Spring, for a very creative quilting class I will miss her laugh and smiling face. A very kind and gentle person tat ia going to miss.

It was indeed a privilege to know Liz. A kinder or more considerate person I have yet to find. Rest in peace dear sweet Liz. You will be greatly missed.

She will always have a very special place in our hearts. Loved her for many many years. She leaves a void that will be there forever.
