Elizabeth Leona Boggess

Elizabeth L. Boggess, 92 of Weirton, WV passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, at her home. Born May 15, 1924, in East Springfield, OH, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Nora Polan Huber. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth B. Boggess, infant son Warren Boggess and brother Frederick Huber. Elizabeth's greatest joy in life was caring for her son Ronald. She was a member of Kings Creek Union Chapel and was a Ladies Aid who sent get well cards to the sick. She is survived by her son Ronald Boggess (Jonnie) of Weirton; brother Edgar Harmon (Barbara) of Cleveland, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday 6-8 PM at Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Pastor Rick Gault will officiate. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kings Creek Union Chapel, 2883 Kings Creek Road, Weirton, WV 26062.
