Sorry for your loss.i used to enjoy talking to your parents.they would invite me in for tea and tell me all about their travels to Cuba and other places. I was a neighbour on palamos street until we moved four years ago.

My deepest condolences to the Bunyan family. I knew of your Mom through my Mom (Eileen nee:Balisky) . My Mom spoke of her often as she had the privilege of being one of her students many years ago at Canuck School. I remember my Mom also telling me that´s when your parents started dating and the kids were so excited to watch their relationship bloom.
Many years ago in 1974 your Mom was tutoring me in Math 9, she had a lot of patience and I greatly appreciated her.
Throughout my childhood my Mom would also make her famous Flapper Pie... it was my Dad´s favourite.
My family was also blessed with having Greg as my son´s (Aaron Gray) High School Principal.
I feel very blessed.
My thoughts, heart and prayers are with all of the family during this very difficult time

Mrs Bunyan was my Grade 6 teacher at Oaklands Elementary. I remember her as a kind, gentle and influential educator. I was blessed to reunite with her and her husband some years ago. She had reached out to me in a letter during my career as a school principal. I eagerly arranged for my wife and I to visit with her at her Gordon Head home. It was wonderful to see her. It also afforded me the opportunity to express the impact she had on my life. For that I am eternally grateful. Thank-you, Mrs. Bunyan. You are often in my thoughts and always my heart.
