With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Betty on December 28,2020 at the age of 98, at the Wentworth Heights Long Term Care Home. Beloved wife of the late Martin Cowie. Loved mother of Martin Cowie (Gail), Ian Cowie (Sue), Yvette McFarlane (Bill) and the late Brian Cowie. Dear Grandmother of Grahaeme (Morgane), Geoff (Joleen), Andrew (Grace), Aaron (Marlena), Brad (Nikki), and Billy (Tami). Great Grandmother to Atlin, Kimmy, Charlie, Chloe, Parker, Taylum and Emilia. Betty will also be missed by her sister Mina, brother-in-law Dennis (Doris) and many nieces and nephews. Betty enjoyed many summers in Scotland with family and friends. Betty worked many years Martin's Grill and Gulliver's Travels. Due to Covid, there will not be a formal funeral at this time. Special thanks to Wentworth Heights Long Term Care Home for taking such good care of our mother. In memory of Betty, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers. Condolences, memories and photos may be left at www.circleoflifecbc.com

My favourite Aunt. Full of fun. Spent time with her and her friend Frances and my mother we laughed till we cried.
