Elizabeth Dewar Obituary
ELIZABETH R. Of Naples, Florida and Novi, MI peacefully passed away at Avow Hospice in Naples on Friday, December 23, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Michigan soon after marrying her one true love, George Dewar. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her many wonderful friends at Sunrise III in Naples and her lifelong friends whom she loved very much at Fox Run in Novi. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George, and survived by her children, Barry (Kim) Dewar, Orchard Lake, MI, Brian Dewar, Westland, MI, and Lesley (Art) Kranites, Naples, Fl. Her loving grandchildren, Darra, Brittany, Faryn, Hadley, Kinley, Lauren, Krisitina, Alissa; and six beautiful great-grandchildren. Elizabeth (Betty) was a very devoted mother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Avow, Hospice, Naples, Florida. A memorial and celebration of life luncheon will be held Saturday, January 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Fox Run Village Ascot Clubhouse, Fireside Restaurant, 41000 W 13 Mile Rd., Novi, MI 48377.
