Dooley, Elizabeth Age 89, of Mpls, passed away September 14, 2012. Born July 4th, 1923, to Frederic and Harriet Wucher- pfenning in Colby Wisconsin. Grew up on a farm in Forman North Dakota. Valedictorian of Forman High School, class of 1940. Moved to the Twin Cities in the early 1950s. Married Gordon Dooley in October of 1953. Worked for Trans Global Airlines and held role of Election Polling Judge for many years. Enjoyed traveling the world and working in her beautiful garden. She was tireless in her volunteer work and felt strongly about giving back to the community. Longtime member of Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church and served on the board as well as on multiple committees. Preceded in death by husband, Gordon; brother, Donald. Survived by sister, Louise Groettum; children, Daniel (Jean), Michael (Susan), Kathleen Moya (Milton), Mary Wales (Alan); 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews, friends. Memorial Service 2:00 pm, Visitation 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 20th at Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church, 5300 10th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN. Private Interment at Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to Meals on Wheels or Loaves and Fishes.

I remember visiting with Beth in our church when I was a new member. She was always very welcoming and helped a lot in many areas of the church. I will miss her. Our family is sorry for your loss.
