I am very sorry for your loss. I met Elizabeth once a number of years ago when she was visiting from Florida. She was lovely and so happy to be able to spend time here with her family.

Lisanne and Michael, I want you to know that you are in my thoughts. It's hard to lose one's mom. I know from experience how difficult this is. Be gentle with yourself and give yourself the space to mourn and grieve.

A great Aunt, Sister-in-law and friend. Great memories of our time together in Florida. We visited every year for over 25 years. You will be so missed, loved you so much

I trained with Elizabeth´s mum at Law hospital Carluke .
Caught up with Elizabeth on a site called Because we Need Beauty
This led to a few FaceTime chats ,she in her bed (night time ) in Florida and me having my morning cuppa ,
Many conversations and laughs ensued ,also shared her videos of her nephews music
My condolences to family and friends

I've only known Elizabeth through the facebook group "Because we need beauty in our life", founded by my friend Anne. Over the years Elizabeth shared so many beautiful things and in a way, helped me to get through tough times. Thank you Elizabeth, may you rest in peace, wherever you are now.

Elizabeth was a wonderful aunt to our two sons Johnnie and Cameron. She would entertain them for hours with trips to the park, stories and creative activities! We missed her when she moved to Florida, but we have many happy memories of trips camping and cottaging!

Elizabeth and I attended Park Street Primary ( Our Lady Of Good Aid ) and Holy Cross High School together. We were also in the Girl Guides. She was strong, fearless, independent, and had a great sense of humour. After High School, we went our separate ways on life`s path. A few years ago, we found each other on Facebook. On our first video call, it was as if we had spoken yesterday, and the years dropped away. Elizabeth joined a Facebook Group I had started ~ " Because we need beauty in our lives ..." and became an Admin. Our other Admin. is also a Holy Cross High alumnus. When Elizabeth visited Scotland, we had a reunion with other High School Alumni; what a great time we had. The attached photo was taken at that reunion. That was the last time I saw Elizabeth, but we kept in contact until she died. It was a gift that we shared the first and last chapters of our lives. I miss her, but she is not gone from us, just before us. With fond memories, Anne O. Skirvin.
