ELIZABETH "BETTY" JEAN (McDERMOTT) GRADY, of Quincy, formerly of Boston. a longtime resident of Quincy she formerly lived at River Bay and 125 Granite St. Elizabeth passed away at the Kindred Tower Hill in Canton, on March 4, 2014 after a long illness. She was 95 years old.

Betty graduated from Boston School System. She was an avid reader. Betty also enjoyed her vacations to Dennis on Cape Cod every year. She worked for the City of Quincy for over 20 years both in the Quincy Planning Dept. and the Quincy School Athletic Dept. retiring in 1983.

Mrs. Grady is survived by her beloved sons John E. Grady of Milton, Thomas A. Grady and his wife Yvette (Shaw) of Houghs Neck and the late Robert Grady. Loving grandmother of Kristin Grady of Quincy and Michael Andrade of Rockland.

A memorial service will be held Saturday March 22nd in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church of the Holy Trinity Parish 1000 Sea St. Quincy at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
