Sandra and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I knew your Mother, even before working with her at the Turnpike. She was such a nice quiet spoken person and I really thought alot of her. I did visit her in Jackson in 2007 and she knew who I was. I'm sorry I wasn't able to pay my respects, but my son was in a serious auto accident and just home from the hospital, I couldn't leave him alone. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Betty Graffin befriended me as a new employee of the Turnpike Authority in 1989 until her retirement. She would cultivate African Violets, which were the largest I had ever seen, and place them in my office to brighten my days. She would stay late without pay to assist me with difficult projects which were assigned to me. She was one of my absolute best teachers of Turnpike policies and procedures. After her retirement I missed having her around to cheer us up. I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathies to her family.

I worked with Betty at the Turnpike for many years. I really loved her. She was a genuine, classy lady. We had so many laughs and I enjoyed the times we shared together. I will miss her and may she rest in peace. Love Gina
