Elizabeth Anne Henshaw Hankins

I just returned from a trip and learned of the passing of your mother. We had visited with her at her home in December when we picked up a Christmas tree she was donating to one of the refugee families from Starmount. I always enjoyed speaking with your mother, she was lovely and generous with her time and talents. May God's love and the love of your friends and family bring you through this time of hurt.

Stuart and Tom, please know that I am thinking of you both and look back with such fond memories of the times spent at your house. Your parents were always so gracious and I always felt so welcome. I thought of your mom as "the most together mom" of any I knew! It is no wonder, Stuart, that you are the happy, confident, "together" person you are today. I know your mom was very proud of you! Hang on to the wonderful memories you built with her.

As an employee of Dr. Bill Henshaw, I knew Betty as a warm and wonderful lady. The entire staff looked forward to her visits and the sweet goodies she always brought when she came to Shelby. She was a joy to know.
