Dear Mr. and Mrs. O'Kane and Steve,
I keep trying to put Liz's death out of my mind but can't seem to. Her vibrancy in her high school years was endless and she would always say to me, "Chutesie, don't look so sad", and try to cheer me up. I'm sure my mother and father have welcomed her to heaven with open arms and she's giving them a few of the old Chutesie stories from high school. Thinking of all of you.

To the family of Liz,
I did not know Liz long but the impact on my life and that of my family will be forever remembered. She reached out to us, strangers, in a time of need. She was bright, honest and had a faith that I took comfort in. Liz brought to us relief and hope. I know she thought it was no big deal, in truth it was. May each of you find comfort in the Lord's love, just as Liz did.
Always, Dena Profenno and family

Liz O'Kane was a Kappa Lambda sister at Husson College. We remember her big wide smile and joy for life. She made even the smallest of things fun...including hair!! We knew all about Steve because she was madly in love with him then! (Congratulations on your 31 years) I'm sure she is in the arms of our Lord free from all her pain. Even tho it's been many years, we hope her family knows how special she was to all of us.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16 NIV
Steve, I am so sorry for your loss and your pain … Liz will be sadly missed. I will always remember her for her kind heart, loving spirit, and warm smile.
Sam & Sarah, remember, for your Mom, this is not the end, but a new beginning of the unimaginable … take a moment to think of the most beautiful place you have ever seen … now multiply that beauty by one million, and that’s not even touching the magnificence of what she’s experiencing now … how joyous she must be in the company of her Lord and Savior!
However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him." - 1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV
May God bless you all and give you strength though this most difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
