I first met Elizabeth 30 years ago when we were both working in the costume shop of the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival. She had been sewing at summer festivals (maybe Interlochen...) in Michigan up to that point and regaled all of us with entertaining stories about people and events in those places which kept us laughing all summer long. I still think of and use many of the expressions that she introduced us to such as "It went the way of Cubby..." when something goes missing. Luckily for all of us she ended up staying in Platteville, Wisconsin for several years where we remained friends and worked together during the summers. She was an extremely lovely person both inside and out and blessed everyone she knew with her passion for creating, her boundless quirky energy and her infectious, wacky sense of
humor. For those of us who knew her she will live on in our thoughts... never far away, especially when we are crafting or sewing, just as she always has...

For more than 11 years, I have called you friend and sister. When your name pops into my head the vision I have is one of you laughing...often at yourself and the silly things you did, like tripping on air! I will always think of you when I see firetrucks and remember the first night I heard you ask and answer, "Why are firetrucks red? Because they have eight wheels and four people on them, and four plus eight makes twelve, and there are twelve inches in a foot, and one foot is a ruler, and Queen Elizabeth was a ruler, and Queen Elizabeth was also a ship, and the ship sailed the seas, and there were fish in the seas, and fish have fins, and the Finns fought the Russians, and the Russians are red, and fire trucks are always Russian around, so that's why fire trucks are red! You lit up the world and now you light up our hearts. I miss you terribly and will love you always, my sister and friend.

I first met Elizabeth in high school when we both worked worked in the theater. I'm not sure who gave her the nickname "Mouse", but it seemed to fit as she scurried about making sure everyone's costume was perfect. She's the only person that I've kept in touch with all these years, and even though we haven't met in person for a decade I'll still miss her.

Keith & Family,
I am profoundly saddened by the news of Elizabeth's passing. When I was sent to Largo a number of times for work, she made the trips bearable with her singular wit, ceaseless upbeat personality and a laugh I will never forget. This world is now just a little less bright without her in it, and the next world more so. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I met Elizabeth at Crafty Threads. She was such a wonderful person, made everyone who entered the shop feel at home. And she knew her fabrics, she would easily help me find the right coordinating fabric that I needed. God bless her and her husband. She is missed by all of us who knew her.

Although distance kept us apart in her adulthood, I have not forgotten Elizabeth's brilliant mind and cheerful smile. I have many photos of her from years ago and there are none of her NOT smiling. I hope she is smiling today, united once again with her mom. Yes, she will be missed but seeing her in pain and suffering is over. She is now as free as a bird in peaceful eternity.

Elizabeth, we truly will miss you. We where blessed to have you in our life and loved the time you spend with us in Milwaukee and accepted us as part of your family.. We had lots of laughs, watching old movies, eating tater tots, your favorite, and even our pets being good friends.
You touched our hearts and we love you always.

Elizabeth was a wonderful person, always thoughtful and giving with a smile on her face at all times. And always ready to help another, especially when it came to serging. She will be sorely missed by all. Crafty Threads will not be the same without her, although I know she's there in spirit. Will miss you Elizabeth.

Keith and Elizabeth were made for reach other. Similar sense of humour, who had a real connection and loved each other deeply. We have some really wonderful memories of our time together and remember fondly the time in Sweden when it was -28 when we trudge through the snow dressed to the 9's.
A beautiful lady, a wonderful friend whose smile and laughing eyes warmed everybody's heart.
Love always Kim - sister of the best brother in the world.

She really was so generous. No ego that I could make out. She had an incredible knack of uncovering someone's vulnerability, however well hidden, and showing them kindness. I was the other Aunt to Kim and Dave's children and know only too well how she enhanced and added fun to her nieces and nephew's lives. What a brave, courageous woman! Thank you Keith for allowing our lives to cross. RIP dear Elizabeth xxx

E- my first memories of living in Florida are inextricably entwined with memories of your laugh, of your passion, of your interest in everything in life. You welcomed me when I had no friends south of the border, encouraged me when it seemed like everything we'd done was a big mistake... and oh girl, how you made me laugh! I'll miss knowing you were somewhere out there... but now you're somewhere up there!
