Dearest Marie and Daryl - I have said rosary for your beloved Mom and lit a candle at yesterday's Mass. She is with Jesus this Easter. What an amazing life she had. Be proud you come from such a great lady. Marie, you sure have your Mom's vocation to love and honor. Peace be with you. Love, Mary T.

Mrs. Koegel was one of my Den mothers as a Cub Scout for Pack 70 at St. Columba Grade School. I spent many years in Scouting with Pete and John. Their brother Chris was a very good friend of my brothers Mark and Mike. My Wife was a friend of Betty.
The picture is exactly as I remember her.
Eternal Rest be upon her, may she rest in peace.

Your mother was such a loving, sweet lady. Always a smile on her face. She always appeared to be genuinely happy to see others. What a beautiful trait. I always looked forward to seeing her on Memorial Day at mass at Calvary Cemetary. Mrs. Koegel was an important person in my growing up on Van Buren. She will be greatly missed. Love, Glen and Maxine Johnson
