I was saddened to hear of Bessy's passing . I worked with her on the Turnpike for a long time . She was always very nice to me . She treated me like a son . She loved to talk about her family and had many funny stories . I hope she enjoyed her retirement . My deepest sympathy to her family .

To Bessie's children please know that I extend my sincere sympathy to all of you. I am Annie O'Brien (Cameron's)daughter, Franny and met Bessie for the first time many years ago when she came to visit my mom in Wayne, PA. We saw each other from time to time over the years and she and Malcolm were at our side in Boston when my son sustained a spinal cord injury. Karen was with them as well. Bessie had kindness and a faith you could feel when with her.You were blessed to have had her as your mother. God Bless. Love, Franny

Many thoughts of love and sympathy for Bessie's Family Dad was so sorry he missed the wake. We just learned this morning. He has many childhood memories of Bessie and her siblings in Mabou.
